Italian haute couture brand Max Mara has opened its largest Asian store yet – in Beijing.

The mega store spans more than 800 sqm over flour floors. Designed by the Duccio Grassi Architects studio, the new flagship store is characterised by a striking illuminated façade, destined to become one of the landmarks of luxury retail in Beijing.

Max Mara presented during the opening the “Heritage” Installation created by the Migliore+Servetto Architecs studio, the installation is a journey into the history of the maison, blending unreleased archive materials and innovative technologies.

The company also showcased 50 limited edition ‘Signature’ mini-bags to mark the occasion of the opening.
