Italian brand hits Asia

Italian fashion brand No. 21 is expanding into Asia.

The women’s and men’s fashion label founded by designer Alessandro Dell’Acqua is opening its first Asian store in Japan in Tokyo’s Omotesando district.

The 1830 sqft space, designed by architect Hannes Peer, features black and white layered marble floors, polycarbonate ceilings, mirrors, glass, wood and steel and minimalist lighting and offers ready-to-wear and accessories collections.

“Japan has always been one of the biggest markets for No. 21, so it seemed natural to open the first boutique in Tokyo. People here are strongly passionate about fashion, research and Made in Italy products,” says Dell’Acqua.
