Singapore’s Seletar Mall sets opening date

Media and property group Singapore Press Holdings and United Engineers have set November as the opening month of their shopping mall Seletar.

Connected to Fernvale Light Rail Transit (LRT) station which seamlessly links to the Sengkang North-East Line (NEL) MRT/LRT station and Sengkang bus interchange, The Seletar Mall has six levels (four levels above ground and two basement levels) of retail and three levels of parking with 384 parking lots and 188,000 sqft of nett lettable area.

Around 30 per cent of the leased space will be dedicated to food and beverage.

Seletar Mall has a catchment of 320,000 residents living in HDB flats, private condominiums and land homes located within 3km radius. Apart from the residential catchment, there is also a good-sized working population at the Seletar Aerospace Park next to Seletar Airport and the Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park.

Seletar is currently more than 90 per cent leased with Shaw Theatres, FairPrice Finest supermarket and NTUC Foodfare the main anchor tenants. Uniqlo, department store BHG and fitness centre Amore Fitness have also signed up.
