Heinemann opens Indonesian travel stores

Travel retailer Heinemann has opened two new stores in Surabaya, Indonesia.

The stores at Juanda International Airport are operated by a joint venture with Plaza Bali Duty Free.

The first store, Surabaya Duty Free, spans 548 sqm offering a wide range of products across many categories including perfume and cosmetics, leather goods, travel accessories, liquor and tobacco, fashion and accessories, confectionery and local delicacies.

The second, Bon Bon Voyage, measures 141 sqm features food products including chocolates and fruits.

“Surabaya Duty Free is our first multi-category store in Indonesia and we look forward to a successful venture here,” said Heinemann Asia Pacific CEO Max Heinemann.
