Jabong expands delivery options

Indian fashion e-tailer Jabong is launching a click and collect service.

The ‘NextDoor service’ will allow costumers to pick up orders at nearby coffee shops, petrol stations and tour operators.

The service is aimed at addressing the poor roading network in India.

“Our hypothesis is that if we can provide convenient delivery support then there is potential to get 70 per cent of our demand from non-metros,” said co-founder and MD Praveen Sinha.

Sinha expects the new delivery service to help sales increase.

Jabong will be trialling the pick up service in 39 towns including Murshidabad in West Bengal and Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh.
