South Korea’s Hotel Shilla has won the rights to operate a duty-free shop at Macau International Airport.
Hotel Shilla has been awarded a five-year concession to run The Shilla Duty Free Shop at the airport starting November this year.
The 1000 sqm duty-free shop will offer cosmetics, liquor and tobacco among other goods.
“We are discussing the terms with the airport. The final decision is expected early next month,” a company official said.
Samsung-affiliated Hotel Shilla will also open a duty-free shop in Singapore’s Changi Airport.
