Berli Jucker plans Vietnamese expansion

Thai company Berli Jucker will roll out more B’s Mart convenience stores across Vietnam.

The plan will see 205 new B’s Mart convenience stores added over the next four years to its existing 95 in Vietnam.

It is investing 1 billion baht ($31.09 million) to fund the plan.

The B’s Mart convenience stores complement the 19 Metro wholesale stores in Vietnam, which it bought for 655 million euros ($876 million) last month.

B’s Mart is countering a rapid expansion program in Vietnam by rivals Circle K and Family Mart, with 7-Eleven also planning a Vietnam foray.
