Urban Outfitters to enter Asia

US clothing company Urban Outfitters is expanding into Asia.

It will open its first Asian store in Hong Kong on September 30 at Queensway Plaza, in partnership with Lab Concept, joining its sister brand Free People which opened there in April.

Urban Outfitters offers apparel, homewares, vintage clothing and accessories sourced from Europe and California.

The Asian expansion is aimed at offsetting slowing sales at home and in Europe, where it has around 250 stores.
