Having debuted in Taiwan’s capital city on September 1, American sandwich brand Quiznos says its goal is to open 100 outlets across the country by 2024.
Quiznos, in partnership with Trilogy International Development and Sense-Meal International, has opened its first Taiwan outlet in Taipei’s Xinyi District, not far from the Taipei 101 skyscraper.
“As a global brand, we expect to see Taiwan grow and prosper and become a foundation for the Quiznos brand in Asia,” said Kenneth Cutshaw, Quiznos’ president of international, chief development officer and chief legal officer.
Besides its signature toasted submarine sandwiches, Quiznos says it will be launching locally-flavoured sandwiches.
The brand competes with Subway, which now has around 140 outlets across Taiwan.
