Jamba Juice to enter Taiwan

US-based Jamba Juice is to enter its 11th international market with a new master franchise agreement in Taiwan.

Jamba Juice has signed Quan Hung Gourmet Company (QHG) to develop 35 stores in Taiwan over the next 10 years.

The first cafe will open in 2015 in Taipei.

Jamba Juice offers fruit smoothies, juices and juice blends, hot teas and a variety of food items including hot oatmeal, breakfast wraps and sandwiches. As of July 1, it had 854 stores globally.

QHG is an entity owned and managed by brothers Hung Chun Hsu and Cheng Chien Hsu. They own and operate a variety of restaurant concepts in Taiwan and China under their own and leading franchised brands.

Thibault de Chatellus, senior VP, international, Jamba Juice Company, said: “In QHG, we have found a fantastic partner for Taiwan with a strong passion for Jamba Juice, a deep understanding of the Taiwanese consumer, and an outstanding track record of launching and growing diverse F&B concepts in both Taiwan and China.”
