Krispy Kreme to enter Bangladesh

Doughnut brand Krispy Kreme has signed a development agreement to open 20 stores in Bangladesh.

The company has entered a franchisee agreement with Orion Group which will open the stores throughout Bangladesh over a five year timeframe. Orion Group is involved in hospitality, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and toiletries, infrastructure development, real estate and construction, power, agriculture, textiles, apparel and aviation management.

“As the restaurant industry and consumer embracement of international food brands continue to grow in our country, we look forward to bringing Krispy Kreme’s unique products and in-store experience to Bangladesh consumers,” said Ifzal Ahmed, a director of Orion Group.
