Shiseido luxe line now online

Za, the House of Shideido’s premium beauty brand, is now going online as demand from Indian consumers grows.

The brand will be sold on, India’s premier eCommerce website for beauty and wellness products.

Since its launch in April 2014, Za is available across multiple retail formats, including department stores and multi-brand outlets in both modern and traditional trade retail formats in Mumbai, Delhi NCR and Bangalore.

“With demand for our brand coming from other cities in India and the exponential growth of Indian Beauty & Personal Care e-commerce business, it came time for Za to become available to more Indian Metropolitan women”, said Salman Bukhari, marketing director at Shiseido India.

Benjamin Suzuki, MD of Shiseido India said Nykaa represented Shiseido’s first step into the eCommerce channel in India.

“This partnership further strengthens our business in India by offering Shiseido India an exclusive beauty eCommerce platform with premium imagery and a wide distribution network.”

Founded in 2012, has emerged as one of India’s leading beauty e-commerce sites with more than 250 luxury and premium brands.

Za is now available in 12 countries including Japan, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, China and Taiwan. The brand is aimed at 20-35 year old urban women who desire “sophisticated and fashionable beauty”.
