US-based electronic games giant Razer has opened a unique flagship store in Taiwan’s capital city, Taipei.
Razer was created by CEO and Min-Liang Tan, a Singaporean, and specialises in products marketed specifically to gamers. The Razer brand is currently being marketed under Razer US.
In the new Taipei store, which opened last Friday, gamers can try the company’s unique devices including high end computer mice designed for online games, keyboards and other accessories.
Centrestage are the Razer Edge tablet, a handheld computer running Windows 8 optimised to game-playing – and a purpose-built PC unveiled at last year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The opening was celebrated online with a minisite – #TWRazerStore (in Chinese language) and blog and social media postings in English. Many of the company’s US management flew to Taiwan for the opening.
