Rapas mail order to make retail debut

Rapas Co is to open a retail store in Tokyo’s premium Ginza shopping district on July 14.

The mail-order retailer of beauty and health products, which also provides environmental technology solutions, says the store will be its first bricks and mortar store globally.

Rapas centers its businesses around a Chinese domestic mail-order service. One of its main health products targeting women in their 30s to 40s, Super Reperfe Lala slim, has been well-received by a wide range of age groups, its popularity spreading in China by word-of-mouth communication and attracting attention from consumers in other countries as well.

Today 70 per cent of its total sales are generated in China.

At the new official Ginza store, Rapas aims to embody its brand concept, “total beauty support,” with the Reperfe and Super Reperfe series as well as the newly developed skin care cosmetic brands, Lala Reset and Cherad Belle Beaute.

The first floor of the store will feature the entire collection of Rapas’ health food and cosmetic products with samples and counseling services.

Chinese customers will be served by a basement floor store featuring selected beauty and health products.

The new store will be located on the first floor of  Ginza Renga Dori Fukujin Building, 1-5-6, Ginza, Chuo-ku.
