Saint Laurent has reopened its concept store in Ion Orchard shopping centre on Orchard Rd.

The new Saint Laurent store concept, designed by creative director Hedi Slimane, is described as “a physical embodiment of the brand’s realigned visual identity, articulated in the language of modern, 21st Century Art Deco”.

The predominantly monochrome space uses slabs of the finest ‘noir soie’ and ‘blanc statuaire’ marble set in contrast to concrete.

The new Saint Laurent store located at Ion Orchard level 1, store 27. It ranges men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and accessories.

Parent, French fashion house Yves Saint Laurent, has also opened a new Saint Laurent Hong Kong concept store at Elements mall.

The new Hong Kong store was described by one fashion blogger as “a tribute to tasteful opulence, employing both ‘noir soie’ and ‘blanc statuaire’ marble throughout while incorporating board-formed concrete panels, mirrored shelving, suspended hang bars and quilted leather benches”.
