Wardrobe-on-demand startup PAKT launches in Hong Kong

Wardrobe-on-demand tech start-up PAKT has launched its offsite clothing management services in Hong Kong, catering to the needs of frequent travellers and busy professionals.

PAKT offers a unique platform for per-item wardrobe management with butler services ranging from collection and delivery to a high-resolution photo catalogue allowing individual garment tracking, pressing, dry-cleaning and repairs.

The PAKT platform provides its members a unique service in managing their personal items, from wedding dresses to baby clothes.

Wardrobe-on-demand startup PAKT Hong KongDevelopment is currently under way on a clothes sharing, trading and donation platform. Members can access services on the go on their smartphone, according to founder Barbara Yu Larsson.

“Hong Kong is a busy place, a city that never sleeps. Limited home space and humidity make clothing care at home challenging, so people need a reliable and accessible clothing management system that saves time and space.”

The company’s technical director, Nicolas Kohl, added: “PAKT is about much more than simply putting your wardrobe at your fingertips. We’re creating a community which is a virtual space where you will be able to manage, share, rent or even donate the clothes you no longer wear to charity.”

Associate director-general of investment promotion Dr Jimmy Chiang said InvestHK is delighted to see that another innovative start-up is leveraging Hong Kong’s vibrant and fast growing ecosystem to make its dream come true.
