A series of seminars over two days has been organised for eCommerce businesses titled Branding: Embracing the E-tailing Era.
The seminars, jointly organised by the Trade and Industry Department and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will be held on December 3 and 4.
Various branding experts and representatives of renowned e-tailers and operators will come together to share their views on how small and medium enterprises (SMEs) could form branding strategies and develop new markets with cross-border eCommerce and online shops.
The seminar series will consist of four sessions::
- E-tailing from Zero to Hero, December 3, 11am – 12.15pm. Speakers: Franc Renzi, COO of eCargo Enterprise; Victor Chong, director of business development, Strategic Venture.
- The New Opportunities of Cross-border eCommerce in China, December 3, 2pm – 3.15pm. Speakers: Kevin Deng, deputy GM Hong Kong Suning Commerce; Rex Cheuk, head of Tmall Global – HK & Macau.
- E-tailing: The Fast Track to Enter Overseas Market, December 4, 11am – 12.15pm. Speakers: Aimone Ripa di Meana, CEO, crossborder, Lazada Hong Kong; Natalia Kojoukhova, director of buying and marketplace, Zalora Hong Kong.
- Do Your Targeted Customers Know Your Online Shop?, December 4, 2pm – 3.15pm. Speakers: Louis Li, director JD Worldwide (Hong Kong), JD.com; Jeffrey Chu, director and founder, You Find; Edward Chu, CEO of O2S Marketing.
The seminar series is one of the highlight events of the annual World SME Expo, which aims to provide a platform for service providers to promote their services and business solutions to SMEs, and help SMEs explore market opportunities. The seminars will be held at Seminar Room D, Hall 1, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and conducted in Cantonese, English and/or Putonghua (with simultaneous English and/or Putonghua interpretation). Admission is free.
