Hong Kong Flower Show 2016 stall auction completed

Wednesday’s auction of 52 commercial stalls at the Hong Kong Flower Show 2016 raised $2.65 million in revenue.
Organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the 10-day flower show will be held from March 11 to 20 at Victoria Park. The 52 commercial stalls in the showground include 41 goods stalls, four fast food stalls, two fast food stalls each with a subsidiary stall, four dry food stalls and one book stall.
Results of the auction are as follows:
41 goods stalls (5 m x 5m): Upset price: $21,190; Bid prices: Ranging from $30,100 to $61,100 Average price: $39,949.
Four fast food stalls (5m x 10m): Upset price: $28,240; Bid prices: Ranging from $28,240 to $32,500. Average price: $29,835
Two fast food stalls with a subsidiary stall (5m x 10m and 5m x 5m): Upset price: $50,970; bid prices: $95,000 and $95,000; Average price: $95,000.
Four dry food stalls (5m x 5m): Upset price: $16,980; Bid prices: Ranging from $160,600 to $202,800; Average price: $172,350.
One book stall (5m x 10m): Upset price: $14,430; Bid price: $14,600.
