FairPrice shopping hours have been extended in the lead-up to the Lunar New Year – and more outlets will stay open during this year’s holiday.
NTUC FairPrice says the extended hours will cater to the demand for groceries and offer greater convenience for customers.
More than 90 stores will be open for 24 hours on the eve of Lunar New year (February 6), up from 60 stores last year, and 25 stores will stay open throughout the holiday period, compared to 21 stores last year. Normal opening hours resume on February 10.
FairPrice Online will trade until February 7, and there will be no deliveries on the first two days of the Lunar New Year. Deliveries will resume on February 10.
FairPrice has 132 stores in various formats island-wide, including 59 outlets that open 24 hours a day throughout the year.
“By increasing the number of stores that stay open during such occasions, we ensure customers can continue to have access to daily essentials and festive-related items conveniently,” says CEO Seah Kian Peng.
