Less than a year after opening its first international store in Tokyo’s Daikanyama neighborhood, Fred Segal Japan is expanding its footprint with a new outlet in Yokohama.
Covering about 17,640 sqft (1638 sqm), the new store will be more than twice the size of the Daikanyama outpost.
It will be in a new waterfront development, Marine & Walk Yokohama. Other tenants will include Cos, Denham, Steven Alan, Todd Snyder and Tom’s. It will also be home to Canadian brand Kit and Ace’s first permanent Japan location.
As well as shopping, the three-floor, 145,170 sqft development will have cafes and restaurants, many of which will have terraces overlooking Tokyo Bay.
The Fred Segal store will sell men’s and women’s clothing, activewear, general goods, organic cosmetics and more.
Fred Segal is headquartered in Los Angeles and its stores have multiple departments run by franchised owners.
