Jiuxian boosts awareness, sales of quality wine

Chinese online liquor retailer Jiuxian is increasing awareness and sales of quality western wines in the mainland.
Jiuxian is now a prominent online liquor retailer in China, basing its business model on identifying and purchasing quality wines from a variety of overseas countries and providing home delivery service as wine awareness there steadily builds.
Established in 2009, Jiuxian enjoys high brand awareness in the online liquor retail business in China with Its “visit Jiuxian and buy true liquors” slogan gaining popularity.
Jiuxian launched a global direct purchase campaign several years ago, its procurement team going to countries like France, Italy, the US and Australia to inspect wineries there, selecting wines with better quality and better cost performance, and then distributing them to Chinese customers via electronic B2C ecommerce channels.
It is now easy for Jiuxian’s tens of millions of registered members to find and buy Lafite, Margaux, Mouton, Palmer and many other 61 Grand Cru Classe wines on Jiuxian. A “Grand Cru Classe Promotion” event held in early 2016 already saw all wines were snapped up in just a short time.
Jiuxian says its powerful logistics and storage system guarantees a quick and safe delivery to customers. Jiuxian has developed subsidiaries and operation centers in major cities such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Wuhan and Chengdu, which provide a total warehouse space of 350,000 sqm. From the perspective of delivery, Jiuxian manages to list dozens of cities on its same day delivery list, over 60 cities on the second day and over 200 cities on the third day.
Hao Hongfeng, the chairman of the board of Jiuxian said his company hopes to stimulate the development of the global red wine business in China, by further brand promotions, as well as innovations in sales channels through purchasing cooperation.
