A Suntec City drone workshop this weekend may be the first to offer piloting lessons in a mall.

Dubbed Drone 101 Weekend, the workshop will be held at The Art Space@Suntec on March 19 and 20, from 11am to 7pm.

“This will be a fun-filled weekend for everyone to have hands-on experience with drones,” management says in a release.

There will be live demonstrations, a drone challenge and drone merchandise will be on sale.

The Suntec City drone workshop will offer shoppers a ‘Hands-on flying session Starter Pack for S$10, where participants can learn the basics of flying a drone with one-on-one coaching by an experienced instructor.

For $119, a ‘Premium Pack’ includes a quadcopter with camera to take home afterwards.
