Two new dining concepts are being introduced at Scotts Square off Orchard Rd.
The centre, which has already launched epicurean options such as London Fat Duck, Time & Flow Champagne and The Coffee Academics, from Hong Kong, has now announced more new tenants.
Opening in the third quarter of this year will be PizzaExpress with its first Singapore outlet offering handmade pizzas, salads, pastas, snacks and gluten-free options. The brand has a history of more than half a century, and has more than 500 outlets across the UK, Europe, Hong Kong, India and the Middle East.
Opening during the next few month is Paradise Teochew, a brand of homegrown F&B conglomerate Paradise Group. Its first downtown restaurant, it aims to uphold the culture and essence of authentic Teochew cuisine, including seafood, poultry and meat dishes, as well as dim sum favourites.
In May, international artisanal bakery Maison Kayser will re-open at a new space, offering freshly baked breads, pastries and French pastry classics.
Homegrown supermarket FairPrice Finest will expand its Scotts Square branch to include a wider gourmet offering featuring seafood, wines and fine groceries from all over the world.
Scotts Square has been undergoing a tenancy relay after a number of tenancies decided to move out in early 2015, citing poor foot traffic. It now appears the mix is appealing to and attracting a defined customer profile with its new mix.
