The Japanese company has partnered with an unidentified Singaporean business partner in the venture.

Gyomu Japan is a franchise supermarket chain launched in 2000 by Kobe Bussan, and has since expanded to more than 720 stores across Japan, cashing in on its unique low-cost operation. It sells general merchandise under original brand names at ‘best-price’.
