To launch the latest spring/summer fashion season, Ion Orchard shopping mall is featuring a tropical garden of flowers, running water and bird calls.

From tomorrow until May 8, along with a range of events and activities, Ion Orchard’s outdoor event space Ion2 will transform into a spring fashion garden with a hexagonal installation complete with greenery, flowers, motion-activated plants and two larger-than-life white peacock topiaries. The Sound Garden will be the first of its kind along Orchard Rd with its flora, fauna, waterfalls and stream.

On weekend evenings, visitors can watch bird shows featuring performing cockatoos and macaws.
A digital light projection show will also herald the start of the season, at Ion Sky, on level 55. The 10-minute evening show will showcase gardens with floral blooms and white peacocks.

Meanwhile, shoppers can take a more active approach by registering for a 60-minute outdoor circuit-training workout led by a team of athletes from The North Face and trainers from True Fitness.

Collections by luxury lifestyle brands will also be showcased at the centre.
