Parisian Macau shops to open late 2016

Sands Resorts is promising “a retail mall like no other” when it opens The Parisian Macao later this year.
The integrated resort was scheduled to open this quarter but construction delays have led to a postponement, reportedly in about October.
Besides 2900 hotel rooms, and a casino, the Paris-themed resort will feature 150 boutique retail stores, adding to Sands Resorts’ existing shopping destinations on the Cotai Strip. It will be linked by walkway with the Shoppes at Four Seasons and the venetian Macao.
The Parisian Macao Place Vendome
Sands Resorts says visitors to Macau will be able to experience “an authentic recreation of the most alluring and enchanting of cities” when they visit The Parisian Macao. The complex’s centrepiece will be a half-scale recreation of the iconic Eiffel Tower at the hotel’s entrance, with observation decks offering views to Mainland China and over the Cotai Strip.
The tower will house a gourmet restaurant offering a blend of East and West culinary traditions.
“The Shoppes at Parisian will be a retail mall like no other, and will be home to more than 150 boutiques with the latest in luxury fashion designers, couture and lifestyle brands, all set in a stunning setting reminiscent of Paris’ famed Champs Elysees,” said Sands Resorts in a statement. Tenants have not, as yet, been revealed.
The Parisian Macao Retail Experience

The shopping precinct will feature daily entertainment from French themed ‘Streetmosphere’ characters including an eclectic mix of street artists, mimes, and buskers. To relax there will be
formal gardens, fountains, hedge mazes, reflective pools, carousels, arcades and bistros, all reminiscent of being in the City of Lights.
The Parisian Macao promises “an abundance of magnificent dining options” for guests to choose from, including the hotel’s Pan-Asian style signature restaurant Le Chine which will be located within the Eiffel Tower itself.
