Housing Authority malls to mark Mother’s Day

Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) plans special promotions in its shopping centres to mark Mother’s Day (May 8).
Customers of the Housing Authority malls are being urged to take along mothers and family members for activities at the Ching Long, Choi Tak, Lei Muk Shue, Mei Tin, Ping Shek, Tin Yan and Yau Lai Shopping Centres. They can also write and post messages for their mothers.
Activities include booth games, shows featuring clowns, acrobatics and magic, and balloon sculpture giveaways. Mothers may also receive free fresh flowers, art flowers or cookies. There is also the chance to redeem small gifts.
Meanwhile, to encourage visitors to HA shopping centres, the parking coupon discount scheme for shop tenants will continue. In the past two years, 46,600 coupons have been sold.
