YouTube Unplugged to stream live TV

YouTube Unplugged, a new service planned by the online video vault, is planning a live streaming online TV service.

Bloomberg has reported the paid subscription TV service could make its debut next year, bringing subscribers a bundled cable TV channel feed streamed over the internet.

According to reliable sources, the company has met with representatives of most major media companies, including 21st Century Fox, Viacom, NBCUniversal and CBS. They would need to secure rights before launching a service.

In the US, YouTube already offers a $9.99 monthly subscription service YouTube Red which allows people to watch videos ad-free.
