Genesis is the marketing and distribution partner in India for more than 14 international brands, including Armani Jeans, Burberry, Canali, Emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani, Hugo Boss, Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors and Paul Smith.
Tata says that partnering with Genesis will help TataCliq.com present some of these brands online in an authentic and authorised manner.
“Together, Genesis and TataCliq.com are also targeting a number of luxury brands that are not present in India or a part of Genesis’ portfolio,” says TataCliq.com CEO Ashutosh Pandey.
Genesis Group CEO Nikhil Mehra says the partnership will enable the group to expand its presence and cater to its growing affluent consumer market.
TataCliq has just launched its website, mobile site and mobile apps (Android and iOS). As well as apparel it will offer electronics and footwear, and plans to add more categories and brands over the next few months.
