Inside the new FairPrice Shop store

NTUC FairPrice has released photos of its new budget-priced banner FairPrice Shop.

As reported by Inside Retail Singapore last week, two of the new stores have started trading – one at Eunos (pictured), the other at Circuit Rd. More stores are planned for Henderson, Boon Lay, Ang Mo Kio and Jurong East by year’s end.

The new format will feature a much narrower range of products than full-scale NTUC FairPrice supermarkets – about 1500 lines, half of them own-label.

A new house brand has been released in FairPrice Shop for produce – Value Fresh, which is 5 to 10 per cent cheaper than FairPrice’s existing house brand fresh produce line.
