Naterra Korea introducing US products

An American beauty, personal care and babycare products brand flagship, Naterra Korea store, has opened in Seoul.

On Cheongdam crossroads in Seoul, the retail space is also home for US global professional cosmetics and haircare brand Tigi.

“Introducing Naterra to Korea was an essential and a pivotal move for our company as we know this market has great enthusiasm for groundbreaking beauty and personal care offerings,” says Naterra CEO Jin Song. “We are confident the Korean team will continue our legacy.”

Covering 5000 sqft (465 sqm), the Naterra Korea stores showcases products from Tigi’s haircare lines Bedhead and S Factor as well as cosmetics. There will also be extra Naterra-owned personal care brands, including Wildflowers botanical skincare, Tree Hut body and skincare, and Baby Magic products.

A corporate office for Naterra will be housed in the retail space, where the team has plans for further expansion in Korea.

“Working with Naterra in the US has brought an expertise that has allowed our business to move forward with integrity and creativity, allowing us to maintain our position as a product company for the professional hairdresser,” says Tigi founder Anthony Mascolo. “We are very positive about working with Naterra as our official partner in Korea and developing a stronger relationship with salons and stylists in Korea.”

Now in soft opening mode, the store will have a grand launch event on August 30, and will also host a three-month Experience Tigi by Tigi Professionals event with hairstylists and make-up artists.
Based in Texas, Naterra International has a 320,000 sqft cosmetic plant and research division.
