Alodd by Aldo Lipari launches in Singapore

A new Singapore label, Alodd by Aldo Lipari, has been launched by the former CEO of Bally Southeast Asia/Oceania.

Aldo Lipari has been a Singapore resident for six years, since relocating for the Swiss luxury shoe brand.
“I’m very much at home in the Asia Pacific/Southeast Asia region and have a strong understanding of what the customer here wants, and what the climate and lifestyle require,”says Lipari. “But I’m also Italian, with an immense appreciation for quality and craftsmanship.”

His flagship store is in the new annex of The Centrepoint on Orchard Rd, opposite Ministry of Food and the site for the upcoming branch of Taiwanese restaurant Din Tai Fung.
Lipari says his shoes are handmade in Italy. “By eliminating many of the unnecessary overheads major brands are subject to, we’re able to deliver a product that presents far greater.”

A feature is the label’s Comfort Line, which is a hybrid of sneaker meets Italian footwear featuring California construction – a technique of shoe construction that actually originated in Italy.
As well as the flagship, there is also Alodd by Aldo Lipari Takashimaya on level three of the Takashimaya department store on Orchard Rd.
