Luxury women’s shoe brand No. 21, founded in Milan and designed by Alessandro Dell’Acqua, has opened its first store in Hong Kong.
On Ice House Street in Central, the shop spans about 1200 sqft (111 sqm) with its interior designed by architect Hannes Peer in collaboration with Dell’Acqua. Based on the same concept as the Milan store inaugurated in January, the decor juxtaposes modern and retro elements. It features Marquina marble, mirrors, wood, aluminum and steel, along with elements inspired by the contemporary art of Damien Hirst.
The Hong Kong shop follows the opening of the brand’s first flagship in Tokyo in 2014, and of five shops-in-shop in South Korea over the past two years.
