Also the franchisor for Church’s Chicken, Cajun Global first entered the international market in 1979, in Canada. Today, the Church’s Chicken and Texas Chicken brands are in 24 countries, with Asia-Pacific the fastest growing region.

Asia has quickly expanded from a one-country business in Indonesia for Cajun Global to eight countries, with the most aggressive growth in Malaysia and Thailand. Texas Chicken already has six restaurants since launching in Thailand in November.
This year Cajun Global is opening Texas Chicken restaurants in four new countries, including Laos. It plans to open 65 restaurants internationally next year.
