Orchard Road’s Wisma Atria has revealed a new line-up of culinary concepts and lifestyle retail offerings.
Several concepts are firsts for Singapore, says a spokesperson.
Six new dining options are included, featuring a 10,000 sqft (929 sqm) next-generation communal dining restaurant, Picnic, opening before year-end. Designed to recreate the energy and vitality of outdoor dining, it will be in an ever-changing urban park within the mall and offer a range of international cuisines. It will also feature a third-wave coffee bar and cocktail bar.
Picnic is the brainchild of Cheng Hsin Yao, who created the Omakase Burger brand, on the mall’s first level.
Opening this month, contemporary Danish cafe Joe & The Juice serves organic coffee, fresh fruit and vegetable juices, and rye-bread sandwiches.
Featuring bubble tea, Gong Cha is also opening its latest outlet this month, rubbing shoulders with Ben’s Cookies, Famous Amos, Garrett Popcorn and Llao Llao.
Focus on desserts
Desserts will line up in December with the opening of Eyescream, a new-to-market Spanish ice-cream brand, and Fruce, a coconut-based dessert-in-a drink shop.
Also in the basement food cluster, opening in January, will be Samurice, which offers bentos and onigiri using select rice, seaweed and salt imported from Japan.
Four new tenants offer more lifestyle options at Wisma Atria.
UK shoe brand FitFlop offers ergonomic boots, shoes and sandals, BFF-time at Qoosh Nail Spa is a new manicure and pedicure service, and there is the floral outlet Xpressflower.com.
Opening this month is Vivre Activewear, specially designed for the Asian body frame and featuring moisture-wicking fabrics.
Overseas customers presenting their passports at the Concierge Counter will receive a S$10 (US$7.35) F&B voucher when spending at least $50 in a single receipt. They can also redeem a three-day Tourist Privilege Card that entitles them to discounts and special offers at certain stores in Wisma Atria.
