Martha Stewart Korea launch planned

The American home products brand Martha Stewart is about to arrive in Korea in 2017.

Martha Stewart Korea will be launched through an agreement between Sequential Brands Group and FB Living, a member of Fang Brothers Group.

The first line of Martha Stewart Living bedding, bath and seasonal housewares will launch in Spring 2017 with bedding, bath towels and decorative pillows.  Kitchen cookware, dinnerware and storage are planned for Fall 2017.

Inspired by Martha’s personal collections and her Martha Stewart Living magazine, the Korean offer will feature both classic looks and fun, modern designs, “so customers can create homes that reflect their unique styles at an affordable price”.

“Entering the rapidly emerging home furnishing market in Korea is another important and exciting step in our global growth strategy to expand the Martha Stewart brand in Asia,” said Sequential Brands Group CEO Yehuda Shmidman.

The brand was founded in 1997 by the Emmy Award-winning television show host Martha Stewart. Since then, the brand has grown to reach some 100 million consumers across media and merchandising platforms each month. Martha Stewart products can be found in over 70 million households.
