Asus ROG Malaysia opens concept store

An Asus ROG Malaysia concept store has opened in Low Yat Plaza, in Kuala Lumpur.

The store’s opening coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Asus ROG (Republic of Gamer) concept, which is expanding its footprint within greater Asia, including Taiwan.

Tech blogger Pokde.net reports that Asus Malaysia aims to provide a better ROG experience to the consumer by launching the store, while strengthening the brand’s presence in Malaysia.

“The Asus ROG concept store is to offer customers the best gaming experience before they get their own gear.”

The store has been opened in partnership with Brightstar Computer on the ground floor of Low Yat Plaza, considered Malaysia’s largest IT lifestyle mall.

Customers of the store can try out various Asus gaming laptops in-store and browse a wide range of accessories targeted to gamers.

The store features a VR set-up and custom-made Asus ROG AKRacing chairs.

Pokde.net reports the concept store is still a work in progress, with plans to complete a “mini gaming cubicle” at the back of the store.

“It’s highly likely that Asus Malaysia will organise frequent mini tournaments there.”
