Anya Hindmarch opening at The Landmark

UK fashion designer Anya Hindmarch will open a store in The Landmark on Saturday, her second outlet in Hong Kong.
Carrying her latest range, the new 350 sqft  (32 sqm) store will reflect the designer’s “Do Computers Dream When They Sleep?” theme from her February runway show. The interiors will feature smiley-face artwork from London-based designers Julie Cockburn and Ryan Callanan.
Hindmarch set up shop in Singapore last month with a 1640 sqft outlet in the Takashimaya department store. The brand has 53 stores globally, and is also sold in department stores including Barney’s, Bergdorf Goodman, Colette and Isetan. In Asia there are 59 points of sale, in China, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
Hindmarch was in Asia early this year to meet with customers at Lane Crawford stores in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
The brand last month appointed Jason Brown as its new president in Japan, replacing Masayoshi Kitada, who retired. Brown, who has also joined the company’s executive committee, has had more than 25 years’ experience in managerial positions for brands such as Hermes, LVMH and Saint Laurent.
