Fujifilm Singapore has opened a concept store, Fujifilm Studio, in Suntec City.

It follows the closure of the company’s outlet at Funan Digital IT Mall, which is being redeveloped.

At the new store, the Japanese camera maker has expanded it services, including…

  • Drop-off and collection for camera servicing/rental
  • Instax inspiration. Products and peripherals for the square-format camera.
  • Studio. At the back of the shop is a full-fledged studio outfitted with ProFoto lighting equipment. Customers can try out the its mirrorless cameras (or the upcoming medium-format GFX 50S) or ask to use the studio for test shots. The studio can be converted into a classroom with a projector and screen, and can accommodate 40 people. Eventually, professional users will be able to rent the studio, which has a changing room and makeup area.
  • Equipment tests. The shop’s walls are lined with Fujifilm cameras and lenses, and the company says customers can ask to test any of them. Set in the middle are cameras with lenses affixed, with Lego models as the test subjects.
