Ms Soignée pop-up to showcase capsule collection

Fledgling online fashion brand Ms Soignée is opening a physical pop-up store this month, showcasing its autumn-winter collection.
Ms Soignée was founded by Melissa Shen, a Singaporean who has lived in Hong Kong for the last six years. Shen quit her job as a corporate lawyer to create the brand which was finally launched in November last year.
The Ms Soignée pop-up will run from December 16 to 18 at 10 Shin Hing Street, above Yogabambam, which is off Gough Street, near PMQ.
Shen designs all the clothes herself and while the lines are predominantly sold online she also works on consignment with stores in Hong Kong and Singapore.
“I am hoping to use this pop-up as a platform to introduce the brand to as well as get to know the customers here,” Shen told Inside Retail Hong Kong. “I will be showcasing the AW16 collection which was launched a few weeks back online – and I am planning to launch a capsule collection of cheongsams during the pop-up as well.”
Shen describes Ms Soignée as a label “inspired by and made for the modern woman – well-made, elegant pieces that can take her to work and beyond”.
“We take a lot of pride in our workmanship as we believe in creating pieces that our customers can love and wear for years. Our signature fabric is tweed and lace, some of which are imported from Japan, Europe and the UK, and the design aesthetic is elegant femininity.”
Shen will donate 10 per cent of the profits earned during the pop-up to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation, an illness she can relate to having had three scares over the last decade.
