Penalties may be imposed on Macau eCommerce businesses that fail to register for taxation, the Macau Financial Services Bureau (DSF) has warned.
Director Iong Kong Leong says eCommerce companies trading out of Macau must undertake tax registration, reports the Macao Daily News.
The bureau says it will continue to monitor online sales activities in the city, and will remind recalcitrant eCommerce businesses they need to register. As the investigations are in their initial stage, only a few unregistered businesses have been found.
