Yves Saint Laurent pop-up puts new spin on fragrance

After Yves Saint Laurent’s new Mon Paris fragrance was featured on a 360deg “panorama podium” at Hong Kong International Airport, the new concept will be rolled out at several other airports internationally.
The Yves Saint Laurent pop-up podium had prime position on the landside entrance to the airport.
As well as discovering Mon Paris, travellers could also experience a “vertiginous look at upside-down Paris” thanks to 360deg panoramic cameras, says the company.
Travellers were able to be featured in a panoramic video, which was sent to them by email for sharing on social media.
Yves Saint Laurent says many passengers were both stunned and surprised by the video concept. Some sent in comments…
“I never thought I’d come across Paris upside down at the airport in Hong Kong!”
“A 360-degree selfie was a completely new experience for me. It was such a surprise to experience it before I left Hong Kong.”
‘The 360-degree experience reminded me of my last trip in Paris with my loved ones. It was a memorable selfie to keep forever.”
Yves Saint Laurent says the promotion was all in line with the brand’s positioning: “Mon Paris pays homage to vertiginous love that makes people lose their senses.”
