Ramen Gallery Takumen Singapore goes Italian

Ramen Gallery Takumen Singapore has added an Italian-style cheese ramen to its line-up.

Using Italian ingredients, the Ramen Fromage comes from Tokyo’s Due Italian ramen restaurant, which has won the Michelin Bib Gourmand for three straight years. The restaurants is owned by Kazuo Ishizuka, who worked in Italy for 25 years.

Ramen Fromage contains rich Gorgonzola cheese that gradually melts into the soup. It is particularly popular with women.

Ramen Gallery Takumen Singapore, on Circular Road, also provides products from seven famous Japanese ramen restaurants – Bigiya and Bingiri in Tokyo, Chibakara in Chiba, DoMiso and Hajime in Tokyo, Honda Shoten in Fukuoka and Sakuta-Ya in Tokyo.

Takumen opened in Japan in 2010 as an online ramen store, with its Singapore branch having gone through repeated trial and error to adapt products to the local water and ingredients.
