V City mall shops make $2m for year

Sun Hung Kai Properties’ V City mall posted HK$2.2 billion (US$283.5 million) in sales last year.
Footfall at the mall grew by 5 per cent to more than 50 million.
According to financial research company Maybank Kim Eng, the mall expects sales to rise by 2 to 6 per cent to $600 million, and footfall to increase 2 to 6 per cent to 12 million in the first quarter of this year.
V City, which hosts 130 brands and restaurants, is atop MTR Tuen Mun Station and Tuen Mun Light Rail Station. Its Bella Beauty Zone features more than 20 shops, including Make Up For Ever and Shiseido. The first-floor Food Spot offers Chinese, Japanese and Western cuisines.
Visitors coming from or heading to Mainland China can use the mall’s cross-border transport hub.
