Californian furniture company HD Buttercup has opened a flagship store in Hong Kong.

Its Horizon Plaza outlet features furniture, floor coverings and accessories, with its collection curated in Los Angeles. The American brand’s offering is one-of-a-kind furniture and home décor that can be bought directly from the shop floor.

As well as globally sourced items, the store offers locally handcrafted pieces in its 15,000 sqft (1393 sqm) showroom.

Regional favourites like Sonder Living and Timothy Oulton have dedicated floor space within the store, which also offers perhaps Hong Kong’s largest collection of rugs, ranging from traditional to contemporary.
