MCM Thailand opens Bangkok flagship

Luxury leather goods brand MCM Thailand has opened a flagship store in Central Embassy, Bangkok.

Covering 174 sqm, the store offers the full range of MCM products and includes a VIP zone.

Spread across 14m, the store’s façade is partially covered with champagne-gold brass plates, while the interior features accents of bronze and wooden frames, white granite flooring and delicate lighting. Customers can view the brand’s latest seasonal campaign and concept videos on its retail screen.

MCM also introduces its ready-to-wear collection for men and women to Thailand, exclusive to the Central Embassy flagship. Also on display is its latest Christopher Raeburn collection, launched in London.

To celebrate the opening of the store, it is offering an exclusive limited-edition signature Rockstar Vanity Case in beige.

Founded in Munich in 1976, MCM Worldwide was bought out by Korea’s Sungjoo Group in 2005.

Founder Sung-Joo Kim established the group in 1990 and launched premium fashion brands in Korea such as Gucci, Sonia Rikyel and YSL, as well as Marks & Spencer products.

MCM products are made in both Korea and Italy, and are distributed to about 40 countries.
