Balenciaga Japan opens Ginza pop-up

Balenciaga Japan has opened a pop-up at Matsuya Ginza flagship department store in Tokyo.

In the store’s international boutique section on the second floor, the shop-in-shop is the French luxury fashion house’s 16th branded sales point in the capital, but the first in Japan to feature the new design codes by Balenciaga’s creative director, Georgian fashion designer Demna Gvasalia.

This pre-empts the upcoming makeover of the Balenciaga flagship in Japan’s prestigious Aoyama district.
