Art springs into The Promenade Shops

Artists take the spotlight at a spring promotion at The Promenade Shops at Galaxy Macau.

Galaxy Macau and DFS have partnered to support the Macau art community, and visitors to the mall will be able to watch artists at work.

Tagged “A Beautiful Spring”, the promotion features floral-themed art, and shoppers at T Galleria Beauty by DFS will each receive a personalised tote bag designed by one of six featured artists, while stocks last.

Each artist will spend a week at the mall creating a painting on a 6m-wide canvas during the six-week campaign. The artists include Mary Cheang, MCZ Thomas, PIBG, Sainter Eric and VIT.

From tomorrow until May 7 The Promenade Shops will feature floral-themed art and floral decor. In The Pearl Lobby, outside the DFS shop, there will be an installation of pink hydrangeas, with a display of the painted tote bags in the centre of the lobby.

As well as shopping specials during the promotion, there will be F&B specials.

Galaxy Macau - A Beautiful Spring_The Promenade Shops

In a first for Macau, there will be a Kate Spade New York Spring pop-up at The Promenade Shops on the afternoon of April 1.

Celebrating the designer’s latest collection, the floral-themed booth will have camel props for selfies. Shoppers who post shots to social media with a Kate Spade hashtag will receive a complimentary orange juice, camel-shaped cookies, bounce-back shopping privileges and the chance to win a discount of up to 15 per cent.

Inside the Kate Spade shop visitors will be able to browse the New York designer’s spring collections.
