The group is the largest manufacturer of athletic and casual/outdoor footwear for international brands, and has a footwear and apparel retail network across Greater China. The company designs and makes athletic and casual outdoor shoes, sandals and shoe components. It supplies brands such as Adidas, Asics, Converse, New Balance, Nike, Puma, Reebok, Timberland and Under Armour. It has factories in China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mexico, the US and other areas in Asia.

Profit attributable to owners of the company increased by 37 per cent to US$534.6 million, compared with US$390.2 million in 2015.

Revenue for Pou Sheng, the group’s retail business, grew by 6.2 per cent to US$2443.7 million.

At December 31, the group had 5560 directly run counters, 18 stores and 3199 outlets run by sub-distributors in China.

Because of strong retail demand and fewer discounting activities, Pou Sheng had a gross profit improvement of 13.3 per cent to US$868.2 million.
