Aimed at helping them ship their products to customers in the US via the DHL network, Parcel International Direct US is geared toward the e-commerce market and seeks to respond to the growth in cross-border e-commerce in the Americas region (71 per cent of retailers and 76 per cent of manufacturers expect cross-border revenue to grow in the future, according to a January DHL Express report, The 21st century Spice Trade).

With the cross-border market projected to grow at a rate of 25 per cent annually from 2015 to 2020, says the report, its value will increase from US$300 billion to $900 billion – triple in a matter of half a decade.

Parcel International Direct US offers an easy, cost-effective international shipping option with end-to-end tracking and a transit time of four to six business days. The DHL e-commerce web portal enables e-tailers to integrate their orders into its network for individual or bulk shipping.

“We are enabling retailers in Singapore to expand beyond borders and reach out to the huge consumer market potential in the US,” says DHL eCommerce Singapore MD Sham Alexandra.
